Yeah that's right, I just got back from seeing the movie. • Oh my god, I cannot deal with children. I know that's a well known fact but it's been thrown into sharp relief by the visit of my small cousins.
• My other cousin Eric is moving to Tucson next year to live with his sister, and I'm really excited because they're both fantastic

A few small things:

• I've finished two comic book series that I've been working on for years, Transmetropolitan and Preacher. Transmet ended in a way that made me very happy, and Preacher ended in a way that made me cry.
• Was very depressed last night, not because of comics but because I was watching Frontline, which was about the Taliban in Pakistan ( Read more... )

Exciting things in my life:

• My hair is a brighter purple than it's ever been
• I have honeycomb
• After a week and a half of minimal human contact, I finally got back out into the world yesterday

When did I get so tired? I slept from 1 am to 2 pm. and I fucking had plans today, man. Not to mention I missed one of my classes. I guess it's no great loss, though, since here are my "plans":

• get Eegees* and a bagel
• Watch Cape Fear and sigh over Gregory Peck
• read webcomics

• So now I can't do anything but listen to Andrew's Regina Spektor CD.
• For some reason when I purl, it doesn't look any different from when I knit. Problems!
• I didn't fall asleep until about 6 this morning, and I woke up at 12. I dreamed that my dorm room had wallpaper and was pretty.

So when I say "I need something good to happen please" I mean something good, not my fucking neck suddenly seizing up on me. Apparently when I get stressed my muscles tense up in my neck, and since this has been one of the most stressful weeks of my life, my muscles have rebelled. • All of the animals are out of proportion in some way, the worst offender is Evan's bear which has a football head on accident.
